B.Sc Psychology

B.Sc Psychology or Bachelor of Science in psychology is a three-year-long undergraduate degree that aims at studying the science of mind, the behavior of mind and mental functions of animals. In this process of studying psychology students will learn about states of mind, consciousness, emotions, motivations, attention and perceptions, learning, memory, cognition, nervous system, endocrine system, hypothesis, qualitative analysis, interview methods, life cycle, problems of the mind, conflicts, etc. They also get to learn through theory and practical education so that they can get an overall development and knowledge of the subject. Students who wish to study Bachelor of Science in psychology should have good communication skills, ability to work in groups or alone with different kind of people, an open mind, patience, etc. They must have a genuine interest in the subject and ability to understand people from different backgrounds and mindsets. They must be empathetic, sensitive and caring as well.
